A Muni bus collided with a car and passengers felt the pain. Thirty people were hurt when the crash happened Tuesday night just after 8 p.m.
A 71 Haight-Noriega bus and another vehicle were both traveling east on Market Street at the time.
Seven people were taken to the hospital and 23 others were treated at the scene for injuries.
None of the injuries are considered life threatening.
The driver of the Muni vehicle will be tested for drugs and alcohol and placed on non-driving status as part of standard procedure.
It's not clear what caused the collision.
