Nearly 20,000 PG&E customers in San Jose lost power Monday morning, according to the utility.
The outage was reported at about 8:30 a.m. in west San Jose where an equipment failure led to the loss of power for about 19,300 customers, PG&E spokeswoman Mayra Tostado said.
Crews responded and restored power to about 7,500 of thosecustomers as of 9 a.m., Tostado said.
All customers had their power restored by 9:40 a.m., she said.
The exact cause of the outage was not immediately available from PG&E.
