Want to make money off of giving someone else your choice on-street parking spot?
There is indeed an app for that.
MonkeyParking, an Italy-based app, allows motorists to auction off their parking spots to other drivers for as much as $20, according to reports.
The app is promising users as much as $150 a month for letting other drivers know when they're leaving their spots, Uptown Almanac first reported.
It's odd, the ability to make money off of a public resource (and possibly not legal, as officials told the Chronicle).
However, MonkeyParking's representatives say that they're merely providing "information."
