San Francisco's new Apple store may now be built.
The final approvals for the tech company's new flagship store in Union Square have been granted, according to reports.
The new store is pegged at about 45 percent bigger than Apple's current location at Stockton and Ellis streets, according to reports, and will be designed to be "more iconic" than Apple's New York City store.
The company declined to say when construction would begin and the current store would close.
