Westbound Interstate 80 on the Carquinez Bridge in Vallejo was open again after police activity shut down all lanes for hours late Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials issued a traffic alert around 6:15 p.m. and advised drivers to use alternate routes and expect delays.
The lanes reopened at about 1:30 a.m.
