Firefighters are investigating what started a fire at a home in East Oakland that left an elderly man seriously injured.
Crews were called to a home on Acalanes Drive about 3 a.m. Saturday morning. Firefighters rescued the man from the burning home, and he was taken to the hospital.
Crews got the fire under control about a half hour later.
There were no other injuries.
