Obama Loves To Yahoo!

Flickr is the official White House photo site

The White House has an official airplane, an official Seal, an official dog.

Now, it has an official photo-sharing Web site.  President Obama and company can be found on Flickr, the site owned by Yahoo!   In fact, more than 50,000 images of the First Family, staff, and others have been posted for all to see, and even comment on.  As befitting a president who rocks a BlackBerry, sends messages out via YouTube, and has brought several Googlers onto his staff, it makes sense that the First Photos are out there for the world to enjoy as well.

For those of you who want to see the photos, here they are.

They're all images taken by the official White House photographer, and they range from semi-official (Obama and Hillary Clinton talking over a park bench) to the semi-candid (Obama and Joe Biden putting on the White House green).  No longer do we have to wait for the latest issue of "Life" Magazine to come out, like our parents did.  Now, just click on Flickr, and see what the Obamas are up to.

Another social networking tool for a social networking administration.  One word of advice:  Good of you to open things up to public comment, but be aware -- the public can be brutally honest.  Even about your putting game.
