iSteve: Official Steve Jobs Biography in 2012

Perhaps Steve Jobs has come to terms with his mortality, which may be why he's approved an authorized biography written by former CNN chief executive and managing editor of Time, Walter Isaacson.

Authorized biographies are generally considered tame affairs without the juicy gossip of an unauthorized biography. We don't know if Jobs will discuss being betrayed by Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page or if he'll own up to  his earlier jackhole behavior at Apple and in his personal life.

For instance, Jobs denied paternity of his illegitimate daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs, and repeatedly fought child support in court for years. While he was growing Apple and becoming worth millions, his daughter and her mother lived off of welfare.
