37-Year-Old Man Arrested After Explosive Chemicals Found at RV Park

Police said Saturday that a 37-year-old man was arrested after FBI agents found chemicals used to make explosives Friday night at a recreational vehicle park in San Francisco.

Kyle Matthew Folsom, a resident at Candlestick RV Park in the 600 block of Gilman Avenue, was taken into custody after an investigation, police said.

Officers responded about 5:10 p.m. Friday to the park, where FBI agents found the chemicals used to make explosives and nearby residents were evacuated.

The city's fire department and explosive ordnance disposal units also responded.

Folsom was booked into jail on suspicion of unlawful possession of explosives, reckless or malicious possession of destructive device and possession of material to make a destructive device or explosive, police said.
