Over 90 Flights Canceled at San Francisco International Airport Due to Bad Weather

Bad weather has caused nearly 100 flights to be canceled at San Francisco International Airport Sunday, a duty manager said.

As of 2 p.m. Sunday, 46 arrivals and 45 departures had been canceled at SFO, duty manager Joe Walsh said.

Flights that had not been canceled were running between an hour and 90 minutes behind schedule, he said.

There was no sign of the flight backlog clearing up, even as rain was expected to gradually decrease throughout the evening.

Passengers flying through SFO were being advised to check with individual air carriers before leaving for the airport.

There were no significant delays reported at Oakland International Airport or San Jose International Airport.
