An overturned big-rig shut down the northbound lanes of Highway 17 in San Jose for more than two and a half hours Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The truck crashed at about 2:35 p.m. on northbound Highway 17 at Hillsdale, the CHP said.
All northbound lanes were blocked while the big rig was being removed. One lane reopened a little after 5 p.m., the CHP said, and the traffic backup was nearly 4 miles by that time.
It was not clear what caused the crash.
No injuries were reported.
