Two young parents from Weatherford are facing possible charges after their 10-week-old baby tested positive for meth.
The couple, 18-year-old Tabitha Shannon and 21-year-old Roy Beauchamp, were arrested after Child Protective Services officials became suspicious when the baby was taken to the hospital for injuries, the Star-Telegram reported.
A drug test of the baby's hair follicles came back positive for amphetamine, methamphetamine and marijuana, according to the Star-Telegram.
CPS has taken custody of the child. Shannon and Beauchamp are facing possible child endangerment charges.
