First responders were on the scene of a major collision in San Mateo County Sunday evening on Highway 1 and Whitehouse Canyon Road.
The California Highway Patrol reported that one person was ejected from an SUV in the multi-vehicle crash, and a medical helicopter was on the way from Stanford.
Lanes were blocked in all directions for a few hours, but have since reopened.
