A police chase Thursday evening in the North Bay left a suspect dead after the suspect's car crashed into another vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The chase ended with the collision on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard at La Cuesta in Kentfield in Marin County. The CHP says the suspect died in the wreck.
The chase began with a be-on-the-lookout report in a domestic assault and battery case out of San Rafael, the CHP said.
The officer was uninjured, and the driver of the other vehicle in the wreck suffered minor injuries, the CHP said.
No further details were immediately available.
