Police on Tuesday rushed to a Kaiser Permanente facility in Union City after someone reported spotting a male in a vehicle with a gun, but authorities determined that the report was baseless.
The Kaiser Permanente medical offices along Whipple Road and surrounding areas have since reopened, according to police.
No one was hurt in the incident, police said.
