Police officers and firefighters in San Bruno will face off Wednesday afternoon in the "Battle of the Badges!" San Bruno Community Blood Drive, according to American Red Cross officials.
Residents and visitors can give blood from noon to 6 p.m. at the San Bruno Fire Department at 555 El Camino Real in San Bruno. Those who donate will get a free T-shirt from their favorite San Bruno agency.
To schedule an appointment, donors can go to redcrossblood.org and enter code "sanbruno" or call (800) 733-2767.
Anyone with questions about their eligibility to donate can call (866) 236-3276.
