Overfelt High School was placed on lockdown as a precaution Thursday afternoon due to a police investigation off campus, school officials said.
East Side Union High School District officials said the incident that prompted the lockdown was a shooting "way off campus." The incident has been resolved and the lockdown has been lifted, officials said.
