A man was pistol whipped during an armed robbery Thursday night at San Jose State University.
The crime was reported shortly after 8 p.m. near Clark Hall on the north side of the campus.
Police said the victim, who is not a San Jose State University student or employee, was sitting on the grass when three female suspects came up to him from behind.
A suspect struck the victim several times on the head with a handgun and took his laptop, police said.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Suspect No. 1 is described as a black female between 15-20 years old, wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and has a lip piercing. She was described as being about 5 feet 6 inches tall, and about 140-150 pounds.
Suspect No. 2 is described as a black female between 15-20 years old, wearing mostly dark clothing.
