Man Run Over After Car Break-In at Legion of Honor: SFPD

A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Tuesday after he was mowed down by two burglary suspects in San Francisco, police said.

The incident was reported at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Legion of Honor in the 100 block of 34th Avenue, police said.

Two men pulled up in a silver vehicle and were trying to break into a car parked in the lot. That's when the victim caught them in the act and started taking pictures, police said.

One of the burglars then got back into the silver car, where the other suspect was still sitting, and they drove off, hitting the man taking pictures. They were still on the loose late Tuesay night.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital, where his condition was upgraded to stable later Tuesday night.
