Police are asking the public for assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an August home invasion robbery in Fremont.
Police said the men kicked in the side garage door of a residence in the 600 block of Monticello Terrace in the Mission San Jose District at about 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 12.
They held the victims at gunpoint and forced them to empty a safe inside the residence, police said.
After taking several items, the men ordered the victims into a bathroom for 30 minutes while they fled.
The suspects then used one of the victim's debit card at five locations in the South Bay.
Police said a black Ford Fusion was seen dropping off one of the suspects at a bank in San Jose about an hour after the robbery.
The first suspect is described as a black man, 20-25 years old, 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves and carrying a black backpack. He was armed with a small revolver.

The second suspect is described as a black man, 20-25 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with cursive writing running horizontal on the chest that possibly spelled "Menc," black track pants with three vertical red
stripes running along the outside of both legs and wool gloves.
