Police Release Sketches of Novato Stabbing Suspect

Novato police Tuesday released sketches of a man and a woman who are suspected of stabbing a man several times during a robbery last month.

The 29-year-old victim was standing near his apartment in the 400 block of Alameda Del Prado around 11:30 p.m. on March 23 when the two suspects allegedly demanded his wallet and cellphone. The victim was stabbed several times when he refused, and the suspects fled in a dark-colored sedan, police said.

One suspect is a thin, Hispanic man in his early 20s between 5 feet 7 inches and 6 feet tall. The other suspect is a thin Hispanic woman in her mid 20s who is about 5 feet 5 inches tall. Both suspects were wearing dark clothing and they left in a dark-colored, possibly black 2-door Honda sedan or similar vehicle, police said.
