Police Release Video of Suspected Restaurant Thief in Alameda

A suspect caught on video surveillance stealing from an Alameda restaurant office last week is being sought by police, authorities said Saturday.

In the video the man is seen entering Burma Superstar at 1345 Park St., climbing the stairs and rifling through the eatery's business office, at about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities did not disclose what the man took, but said he is wanted on suspicion of grand theft.
