The Gilroy Police Department is asking anyone to come forward with information involving the death of a man found lying in a parking lot on March 15.
Officers were called to 8065 Kern Ave. in Gilroy on March 15 at 4:50 p.m. to investigate a report of a person lying in a parking lot.
A man who appeared to have suffered a severe head injury was found and medical crews were immediately called to the scene, according to police reports.
Initial reports suggests that the man identified as Robert Strickland may have accidentally fallen and hit his head on the ground, according to reports.
Anyone with information pertaining to Robert Strickland’s whereabouts prior to his death or who may have other pertinent information about Robert Strickland is encouraged to contact Detective Michael Bolton at 408-846-0350.
