Poll Workers Sought for November Election

The Sonoma County Registrar of Voters is recruiting polling place workers across the county for the Nov. 6 election.

Workers will set up and close polling places, locate voter names on rosters, collect voter signatures, provide simple instructions to voters, issue ballots and other duties as needed.

Poll workers must be registered to vote in California or be a permanent legal resident of the United States and be able to serve on Election Day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The registrar is also seeking bilingual workers who speak English and either Spanish, Khmer, Tagalog or Vietnamese.

To obtain more information on serving as a poll worker, call the registrar's office at (707) 565-6816 or email them rov-polls@sonoma-county.org
