A water main break caused a major traffic detour in Milpitas on Tuesday night and into Wedenesday morning.
All eastbound lanes of East Calaveras Boulevard, from Hillview Drive to Interstate 680, were closed as crews worked overnight to repair the water pipe.
The roadway reopened around 7:15 a.m. Wednesday.
