Remember Friendster? It was the first major social network, one that couldn't handle the load of all its users and was quickly overtaken by MySpace and then Facebook. Well, if you've got stuff on your Friendster profile you want, it's time to get it.
Yes, Friendster is officially about to cease to exist, at least as we remember it from way back when. It's becoming an "entertainment and fun" service focusing "mainly on Asian users." Okay, then! But as part of that transformation, all photos, blogs, comments and groups are getting nuked on May 31st. My memories!
