Employees at a San Jose pharmacy were held at gunpoint during a robbery Wednesday, police said.
The incident was reported just after 11 a.m. Police said three men entered Lexann Pharmacy, located near Highway 101 and East Capitol Expressway, and demanded cash after displaying a firearm.
"They displayed a weapon and demanded personal property and cash from the people inside the business," San Jose Police Sgt. Heather Randol said.
The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and personal items from victims. Police are investigating if the suspects also took prescription drugs.
Lexann Pharmacy is located in a medical plaza that includes pediatrics practice, a dentist and other family practitioners.
Anna Nguyen, who works for a doctor two doors down from the pharmacy, said Wednesday's incident is the second time armed robbers hit the business.
"That's why now we're scared," Nguyen said.
Police have not released a description of the suspects. They are reviewing surveilance cameras to help lead them to the suspects.
