Superhero Runners Brave Weather For Union City Fun Run Benefiting Parkinson's

A Sunday morning fun run in the East Bay saw hundreds of super heroes brave the rain and cold to help raise money for those affected by Parkinson's.

The Superhero 5K/10K Fun Run & Walk, presented by Union City Community and Recreation Services, took place at Mark Green Sports Center. The center has started a Parkinsons exercise program, offering yoga, dance and even boxing classes.

All proceeds from the run will go to the Parkinson's Foundation Moving Day event taking place later this year, according to the center website.
