A holiday tradition in the South Bay will once again dish out Christmas gifts to families and children in need.
Sacred Heart Community Service in San Jose on Thursday and Friday will distribute thousands of toys, bikes and other goodies to about 6,200 children in the community.
The community center is packed with toys and gifts, but Sacred Heart says it is still short about 4,000 toys as of Thursday morning.
Those wishing to help out can still drop off toys at Sacred Heart or donate online.
