Sacred Heart Food Pantry Receives Enough Turkeys

A nonprofit that bills itself as the largest food pantry in Northern California received enough turkeys this year to feed the hungry.

Mid-week, Sacred Heart Community Service in San Jose needed about 1,700 more turkeys to provide 4,200 families with food boxes.

On Wednesday evening, spokeswoman Morgan Wordes told NBC Bay Area: "We did it. No one went home empty handed."
