San Francisco Supervisor Proposes $100,000 Impact Fund For Certain Businesses Affected by Super Bowl City

The Super Bowl provided some big business for the Bay Area, but some small business owners felt left out.

Now one San Francisco supervisor wants to make it right.

Many street vendors on the Embarcadero were displaced by Super Bowl City. Surrounding businesses also suffered when road closures and extra traffic kept customers away.

Supervisor Aaron Peskin wants to create a Super Bowl 50 Impact Fund to help affected business owners and is asking city leaders to provide $100,000 for the fund.

To qualify, street vendors would have to have the appropriate permits from the city.
