A San Francisco supervisor is unveiling his proposed initiative to involve public libraries in combatting the city's drug crisis.
It’s called Read to Recovery, and it is an initiative that Supervisor Matt Dorsey is proposing as a key part in addressing the city’s record-setting opioid crisis.

It's not the first time Dorsey has talked about the importance of literature in the road to recovery. He's scheduled to make a formal announcement at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
