A grieving San Jose wife on Wednesday made an emotional and public plea for help in finding out who killed her killed her husband, a 34-year-old barber fatally shot on Jan. 5 - the city's first homicide in 2013.
Speaking briefly at the San Jose Police Department before breaking down into tears, Araceli Herrera begged anyone who knows anything about the death of Ivan Segura to come forward.
"It is very sad for me," she said. "I have a 5-year-old daughter. I have no answers for her."
Police said they have no motive for the killing and do not believe it was gang related. Segura was found in the 1900 block of Tripoli Avenue in central San Jose, the morning after neighbors reported hearing gunshot the night before about 11 p.m.
