San Mateo County Sheriff's Deputies Searching for 3 Suspected Burglars

San Mateo County sheriff's deputies are on the lookout for two women and a man who, they say, broke into a residence in unincorporated Redwood City and made off with mail.

The burglary occurred around 2 p.m. Friday on the 600 block of Palomar Drive, sheriff's deputies said.

After forcing entry through a locked side door, one suspect stole several pieces of U.S. Mail from the house's garage, according to sheriff's deputies.

Surveillance video shows the trio, unable to enter the main house, fleeing the scene in a dark colored, four-door 2015 Toyota Yaris hatchback

The homeowners stumbled upon the damage, reviewed security camera footage, and called police Saturday.

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspects and also warning people who live in the area to be on alert for suspicious people and vehicles.

People with additional information are asked to call Detective Andy Armando at (650) 363-4357 or use a tip line at 1-800-547-2700.
