Two Santa Clara County Superior Court buildings in San Jose were evacuated Thursday afternoon because of a bomb threat, according to the sheriff's office and a court spokesman.
The court tweeted that a suspicious package was identified at the Park Center Plaza Courthouse.
Within an hour the area was given the all clear and the administrative offices, known as the Community Towers, were given the all clear and staff was allowed back in.
The closure did disrupt the court calendar.
The court said that the calendars at Park Center Plaza were canceled for Thursday afternoon, but all other court operations would go on as normal
Sheriff's deputies responded to a report that a bomb threat had been called in to the court administration building at 111 W. St. John St. at about 9:40 a.m., sheriff's Deputy Kurtis Stenderup said.

The administration building was evacuated, and authorities scoured the building for any suspicious packages, Stenderup said.
The Family Courthouse at 170 Park Ave., about half a mile from the administration building, was also evacuated, according to the court's Twitter feed.
Streets in the area were also shut down and people are advised to stay away during the time of the evacuation.
