It's almost miraculous that most of the San Mateo coast has been saved open space and agriculture and that tens of thousands of acres ain the mountains above booming Silicon Valley have been preserved for all of us to enjoy. We have many to thank for this gift of precious greenery, not the least of which is the Peninsula Open Space Trust.
