Scattered Showers, Drying Trend Ahead

A cool, unsettled airmass spilled into the Bay Area  Wednesday offering scattered showers mixed with cool sunshine at times.  The showers should decrease in intensity by evening setting up the Bay Area for a drying trend into Thursday.

Patchy morning frost may be possible Thursday morning as skies clear and if winds remain light.  Dry conditions should last until Friday afternoon before our next weather system spins down the coast bringing more clouds and an increasing chance for some rain, especially along the coastal areas.

Showers are expected to continue into Saturday, then move southward by early Sunday as the low positions itself just to the west of Southern California.

The long range forecast is trending a little drier with high pressure hanging around a little longer early  next week giving us what may be a drier start into the New Year.
