SF City Employees Investigated For Porn, Gambling on Work Computers

Misuse of work resources probed

Workers at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission are being investigated for using their city computers to gamble and to watch pornography, according to the San Francisco Examiner.

The SFPUC and the City Attorney's office are expected to "conclude shortly" an investigation into the misconduct, the newspaper reported.

An unspecified number of supervisors and employees in two divisions are suspected of the misdeeds, according to city officials.

A whistleblower first turned in his or her coworkers for the digital mischief, and if the allegations are true, the workers involved could lose their jobs, according to the newspaper.
