SF MOMA Opens Its Doors to Foodies

What happens when you give the keys of one of San Francisco's more popular museums to two of the City's more well-known foodies? Magic.

Technically the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art will let artists animate the museum for an evening, but Blue Bottle Coffee and Meat Paper magazine will spearhead the food and drinks at MOMA's Now Playing event series.

The evening events take place on Thursday nights starting March 18. The museum lets artists set up rooms however they want, including with lights, music, talks and movies.

Before Thursday's screening of Bruce Conner and the Singles Collection, Blue Bottle and Meat Paper will serve "an evening of coffee-inspired charcuterie, meat-inspired desserts, and Blue Bottle coffee."

The event is free with a ticket to enter the museum and tasting plates are $5.
