SF Supervisor Wants to Reimburse Vendors Hit Hard During Super Bowl

San Francisco supervisor Aaaron Peskin wants to reimburse local businesses that were hit hard by more than two weeks of street closures during the Super Bowl.

The board’s finance committee on Wednesday will consider his plan, which would include street vendors who were forced to move from high-volume areas like Justin Herman Plaza.

City leaders have still not announced the amount of tax revenues that were generated from so many Super Bowl visitors.
