SFO All Clear After Plane Bomb Threat

San Francisco police say an overnight search after a bomb threat to a plane landing at SFO has turned up nothing.

Police gave the all clear around midnight. The threat was made Tuesday afternoon, as the plane was flying to San Francisco from Manila, Philippines. Police say the threat was not made specifically for Flight No. 104, but they wanted to err on the side of safety.

When the Philippine Airlines flight landed around 7:20 p.m. local time, it was taken to a remote part of the airport. That's when the 337 passengers and 20 crew members on board were let off the plane. They were taken to the federal inspections area. Then bomb sniffing dogs began investigating the luggage.

They didn't find anything.

Passengers got their luggage back early this morning.
