A 12-year-old boy was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle in San Francisco, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to police.
Miguel Frojas, 29, was arrested on charges of felony driving under the influence, not yielding to pedestrian and driving without valid driver's license, police said.
Aerial footage captured a cordoned-off scene at Golden Gate Avenue and Leavenworth Street, where a minivan was involved in a collision with a 12-year-old boy pedestrian, police said.
The boy was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
No further details were immediately available.
