Snowfall of Bay Area's Past

As we wait for the snow to (hopefully) fall early tomorrow morning, we are are starting to get some black and white movies of earlier snowfalls long long ago here in the Bay Area.

A Sunnyvale resident named Ron Bingham posted a home movie from a snowstorm that dropped about three inches of the white stuff on his home. It was enough for a good snowball fight and the building of a snowman on W. McKinley Avenue.

The date is Jan. 21, 1962. Mr Bingham also does a nice commentary of the event on the video he uploaded to YouTube.

Thank you to Mr. Bingham for sharing.  If you have a video or a photo from tomorrow's snow or one from your family's past, please send it to this address.
