Solar technology experts will host a seminar in San Francisco this month on employment opportunities in the industry.
The Solar Living Institute is offering a workshop on Jan. 16 outlining prospective solar job opportunities called "Solar Careers and Industry Opportunities."
"There will be high paying and excellent jobs ranging from engineers to CEO's and from accountants to marketing and sales executives to top IT professionals and more," said Michael Eckhart, president of the American Council on Renewable Energy, in a prepared statement.
Industry experts claim that solar technology will continue to expand despite a recessional national economy due to decreasing costs for photovoltaic technologies, implementation of tax credits for residential solar installation and a surge in demand.
