An overturned vehicle left one person dead and blocked two lanes of traffic on state Highway 85 in San Jose late Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The solo-vehicle crash was first reported at 7:31 p.m. on northbound Highway 85 near the Camden Avenue off-ramp.
A Sig-alert was issued at 7:39 p.m. and later cancelled at 9:27 p.m., when all lanes had been reopened, according to the CHP.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts, according to the CHP.
