The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has ordered people living near the Russian River to evacuate due to flooding.
The river, which has already surged above flood stage, is predicted to crest at 46 feet around 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Residents are asked not to call the sheriff's office's dispatch center unless it is an emergency.

The mandatory evacuation orders are for the following areas:
- Guernewood Park
- Northwood Lodge
- Rio Dell
- Duncans Mills
- El Bonita
- Mirabel Heights
- Mirabel Park
- Monte Rio
- Summerhome Park
- Vacation Beach
- Wilson Grove
There are shelters located at:
- Sebastopol Center for the Arts at 282 S. High St. in Sebastopol
- Sonoma County Fairgrounds Grace Pavilion at 1350 Bennett Valley Rd. in Santa Rosa
There will be a free shuttle running from the Guerneville Veterans War Memorial at 16320 Church St. in Guerneville.
