Emergency crews were at the scene of a four-vehicle crash in the intersection of Capitol Expressway and Quimby Road in San Jose Thursday afternoon.
Three people were transported to the hospital, one in critical condition, police said.
Capitol Expressway was closed south of the intersection as police investigated the crash.
