Officials are investigating a fatal crash on northbound Highway 101 in Morgan Hill, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It happened around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday near the Cochrane Road exit, shutting down the freeway for several hours, the CHP said. All lanes reopened just before 1 a.m. Wednesday.
