Authorities are on the scene Friday morning where someone was badly burned in an encampment south of Gilroy in unincorporated Santa Clara County, a dispatcher for Santa Clara County confirmed.
A camp fire got out of control and a victim suffered burns over 80% of the body before being flown to a hospital in San Jose, the dispatcher said.
