South San Francisco Police Warn Residents After Rash of Crime

Concerned residents over a rash of crime in South San Francisco packed a town hall meeting Thursday to hear from city officials and police.

In the past month, police report two robberies and 12 burglaries in the Peninsula city.

Police at the meeting told residents criminals are taking advantage of people who forget to lock their doors and windows. Residents are also being urged by police to get to know their neighbors.
